Maude Sabourin
Maude started dancing at the age of 3 in a small neighborhood school in Terrebonne. In 2000, she joined the École supérieure de ballet du Québec where she began her professional training.
In 2006, she was hired by Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo under the direction of Jean-Christophe Maillot and the Princess of Hanover. Based in Monaco, she travels the world for more than twelve years with this company. Paris, London, New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo and many others. She dances in some of the most historic theaters in the history of dance. Maude has worked with some of the most influential choreographers of our time such as William Forsythe, Jiri Kylian, Marco Goecke, Johan Inger to name a few. She climbed the ranks and became a principal dancer in 2014. In 2018, after more than a decade abroad, Maude decided to return to her native country to join Les Grands Ballets Canadiens. To return home, to find her roots, her family. To share all the experience she has gained throughout her career, to dance on the stage that inspired her so much as a little girl, to inspire other young people... Maude continues her career with the goal of vibrating and especially making others vibrate...
