Sonja

Sonja is a Vancouver native who is now based in Toronto. She got her start in modeling by booking a test shoot with a local photographer in an effort to boost her self-confidence. After a few shots, the photographer encouraged her to apply for modeling agencies. As a petite Asian woman, she recognizes the importance of representation and wants to increase diversity in industries that typically don't provide a fair opportunity for everyone. Sonja is inspired by the future and its uncertainty, which she sees as a source of unexpected opportunities. She believes in living in the present as the only way to find peace in the chaos of life.
